Electro-Dermal Screening
My goal at Avenue Wellness is to help you find sustainable solutions to your health issues using natural and complimentary approaches based on the information I obtain through your intake forms and a personal consultation with you. An Electro-Dermal Screening may be very helpful in this process. Partnering together, we will be looking for the root causes of imbalances in your body, not just treating symptoms.

What is Electro-Dermal Screening?

Electro-Dermal Screening (EDS) is a pain free, non-invasive method of checking for the frequencies of pathogens in body systems and organs. Using the Meridian Testing Points on the hands, the certified technician measures electrical resistance along the nerve pathways much like an EKG measures the electrical activity of the heart. Further testing reveals frequencies that correspond to pathogens responsible for the resistance, for example bacteria, viruses, fungus, chemicals, metals, radiation, etc. Once the pathogens are identified, quality natural/whole food supplements and homeopathic remedies are suggested to target pathogens while strengthening and supporting weak systems. EDS is also used to monitor and analyze progress throughout the treatment period.
What can I expect at a screening?
At a typical screening a brass cylinder is held in one hand while the Certified EDS Technician uses a small probe connected to a computer and gently presses specific meridian points on the other hand. The readings are shown on the computer screen and recorded. The procedure is painless and non-invasive.

The device and software used in the Avenue Wellness office is The Discovery System developed and manufactured by Consolidated Wellness Solutions LLC of Dayton, Ohio. The Discovery System’s comprehensive database, along with Consolidated Wellness Solutions’ full line of custom products, makes this EDS system one of the most thorough systems available.
